A Vaccine makes you immune to a disease. The Polio Vaccine prevents you from ever getting Polio. A Flu shot is a repeatable shot given every year, but not a vaccine. The Covid shot is not a vaccine as it doesn’t prevent you from getting the disease. Now, like the flu shot, they are recommending more shots and boosters.
I think you might want to check your spelling. The vaccine we took as kids to prevent Polio was named the Polio Vaccine.
